2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
Kyiv City Council and Communal Enterprise “Kyivskiy Metropolitan”, a communal enterprise owned by the City of Kyiv, have applied for a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for a project to procure metro cars for the new metro line to Vynohradar district in Kyiv. The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of EUR 60 million equivalent, will require the procurement of the following goods, works and services to be financed from the proceeds of the Bank’s loan:

• New rolling stock (metro trains with approximate length 92.5-99.5 meters) and related services

3. Other Information

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules Rev. November 2017 (http://www.ebrd.com/work-with-us/procurement/policies-and-rules.html) and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents. The proceeds of the EBRD loan will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law of official regulation of the Purchaser's country.

Procurement under this project will be conducted using the EBRD Client E-Procurement Portal (ECEPP). If you intend to participate in any procurement under this project, please ensure that you have registered in ECEPP (https://ecepp.ebrd.com). Registered entities will be notified directly when any procurement opportunities are published.
