Scope Of Contract: The overall objective of the Assignment is to facilitate the timely and effective implementation of the Project by providing assistance to the Client. By engaging the Consultant, it is expected that the Client will have access to international best practice in the field of project management, including procurement of works, goods and services, as well as advice on specific technical issues including environmental and social (E&S) requirements.

The Consultant will provide assistance in procurement of works and goods completely in accordance with the procedures, specifications and documentation of the Bank and pursuant to all other agreements stipulated in the Loan Agreements signed between the Kyrgyz Republic and EBRD.

The Consultant will provide assistance to the Client but shall not take on the Client’s responsibilities for the implementation of the Project. Therefore, the capacity building of the Client’s staff shall be an important part of the Consultant’s work under the present assignment, to be carried out in close collaboration with the Corporate Development Programme (CDP) Consultant (selected through a different Client led selection process).
