Tender/Contract Reference No: 10670343: Construction of New Landfill and Closure of Old Dump Site

Scope Of Contract: The works consist of 3 main parts:
 Construction of the new landfill
 Relocation and capping of the existing waste
 Installation of buildings and facilities including access road

The Works comprise:
 Construction of a new landfill with base lining system
 Construction of a leachate collection, transport and storage system
 Construction of the infrastructure of the landfill including all buildings, structures and facilities for supplies, including offices, social rooms, garage with diesel oil tank installation, weighbridge, wheel washing etc.
 Construction of the access road between public road and reception area of the landfill
 All required supply lines (water supply, power and telephone) including connections, necessary valves, meters and shafts both within and outside the site boundary.
 Construction of the fence, the perimeter embankment and surface water drainage around the landfill and the storm‐water basin.
 Construction of a channel beneath the new landfill for deviating surface water from the valley above the landfill.
 Supply of gas well equipment for the new landfill.
 Supply of fixed and mobile equipment for landfill operation.
 Construction of hazardous waste storage facilities
 Equipment for facility operation
 Relocation of all waste from the existing dump‐site within the landfill area
 Construction of a capping for relocated waste
 Supply of a degassing facility for the relocated dumpsite and the new landfill (for future waste)
